Thank you again for presenting at this past NKYSHRM luncheon, I enjoyed learning about the different ways to be mindful in the workplace.
The gratitude journal is one method I had begun before the luncheon, but it was nice to be reminded of its purpose and I was pleased to hear that this was something you recommended. I have, however, started deep breathing while I am at work and my day is getting a little overwhelming; this has helped in calming my nerves and stress levels. Another method I have made a habit of doing is the mindful eating. There are so many days, pretty much every day, that I have so many tasks to complete at work and other things to worry about at home that when I take my break at work or basically any meal, I am too focused on what I have yet to complete. I have begun to be more aware of not only WHAT I’m eating, but HOW I’m eating.
It was a joy listening to you at the luncheon and thank you again for the tips and words of wisdom. 😊
